R.I.P. Jude Douglas.
It is with regret I have to announce Jude Douglas passed away yesterday (Tuesday the 22nd).
Jude had been a member of the Stormin’ committee when I first started some 16 years ago, although she left the committee a few years later she still carried on supporting the event as a marshal mainly working in the marshals survival tent and was a good friend to all. Jude also helped out at many other MAG and Motorcycle related events including the Number 1. Jude will be sorely missed by many and our thoughts and condolences go out to Carey Douglas-Carnegie and the whole family.

Goodbye Tim
It is sad to say goodbye to a friend and fellow member of the committee, but after several years of organising and running the Custom Bike Show, Tim has decided to bow out. This came as no surprise as Tim had announced he planned to leave earlier last year, but we kept hoping he might change his mind. Alas this was not to be! However after bribing him with a bottle of scotch, he has promised to stay in touch and, if he wanders into the event next year, may find himself taking some photos and doing the odd job or two.
Meanwhile all the best in your retirement from all at Stormin’ The Castle.

As you know Stormin’ The Castle is not run by MAG, but by volunteers in support of MAG so it was good to receive this letter thanking all who help put on the event for the work done and giving some insight as to what the money is used for. Continue reading
