Here are our most Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) for those who have not visited Stormin the Castle before or maybe this will be your very first Bike Rally either way we are sure you have a lot of questions This section is a quick guide to Stormin’ The Castle.
Questions include general enquiries, buying tickets and attending the event.

The 10th of August for postal orders and the 25th of August online or by phone.
Ticket numbers are restricted. If there are any left after the cut off date, they will be available on the gate for £40 – BUT ONLY TO THOSE ARRIVING ON BIKES OR TRIKES!
Sorry, but you won’t be able to get in to the rally. In previous years tickets have sold out and the gate has closed. Pre booking is strongly advised.
Yes, but only if you have a pre-booked ticket.
NO! We advise you to buy a car permit or get dropped off at the site. Any cars parked near to the site, which are causing an obstruction, are liable to be towed away by the police. Witton Castle may tow or clamp any cars, which are parked on their land without authorisation.
Yes the drop off point will be indicated to you when you arrive on site.
No. Numbers are strictly limited and selling them through the credit card line enables us to keep a close check on numbers sold.
No.Parking permits are pre book only and will not be available after the cut off date.
No. Prebook tickets are needed by ALL occupants of the car.
Come to the cabin at the main gate & bring your wristband with you.
N0! Animals are not allowed on site.
NO.The main gate opens at 10.00am on Friday the 30th of August 2013. No camping will be available on the rally site before that time. The main show-field opens at 12:00 noon
This is a weekend event and there are no day tickets.
Yes, as long as it doesn’t obstruct firebreaks and access roads. Communal gazebos are becoming more popular and reduce the amount of camping space for individual tents. We reserve the right to clear space if necessary.
We would prefer you to support the bars on site. Your ticket fee just about covers the cost of running the event. We rely on bar profits to raise the donation to MAG.
No slabs of alcohol are to be brought in by car. WE WILL STOP IT BEING CARRIED ON TO THE SITE.
DO NOT bring glass on site-the field is used by livestock at various times of the year.
If you bring a caravan you must book it in with Witton Castle, ring 01388 488230. They will charge you a fee for this, which will be in addition to your rally ticket. There will be no reduction on the price of your rally ticket.

Disabled car parking is free, but must be pre-booked through PO Box 293, Durham, DH1 4XS, by the cut off date (the 10th August). Please include a sae
. A blue badge belonging to one of the occupants must be displayed on the car. All car passengers MUST have a pre booked ticket. Camping is allowed next to vehicles in the disabled camping area. The allocated space is for one vehicle and one tent. See here for full details
