Yes, Stormin’ takes place in a field and that means grass, uneven surfaces and possibly (hopefully not) mud! We will do everything we can to make the event accessible to all but these factors must be borne in mind.
The disabled camping area
This area is adjacent to the main gate, and most of this area is reserved for those who have a pre-booked disabled car permit. Each permit is for one vehicle and one tent and the area will be marked out accordingly.
Due to customer requests, the area is securely fenced to prevent other vehicles using it as a short cut.
You will be able to camp next to your vehicle.
The rest of the area will be available to other disabled people arriving on bikes & trikes on a first come first served basis. Blue Badges will need to be shown at the entrance to the area.
Obtaining a Disabled Parking Permit
Disabled car permits are pre-book only and cannot be bought on the gate.
Only cars and small vans are allowed in this area.
One of the occupants of the car MUST be the holder of the Blue Badge, which must be valid for the dates of the rally.
Please do not email a copy of your Blue Badge to us. A paper copy and a SAE must be sent to the P O Box

Caravans are not allowed in the disabled camping area – they must be pre-booked into the Witton Castle Touring Site (Tel 01388 488 230). Witton Castle will charge for this and the price does not include entry to the rally.
Please make sure that all occupants of the vehicle have a pre-booked ticket. Only people arriving on motorcycles or trikes can pay on the gate.
